The 'Byron Bay beauty' Alamela Rowan has an impressive body of work spanning modelling, acting, and veterinary nursing. Having travelled extensively overseas she is no stranger to new and challenging situations, and enjoys work that directly engages her in meeting new and interesting people.

Featured as a standout contestant on season 4 of 'Australia's Next Top Model', Alamela quickly established herself as a positive role model for many young girls on the reality TV program.

A vegetarian and conservationist, Alamela enjoys using her media profile to address current ethical issues. Her portfolio is constantly expanding, and she looks forward to working with other professionals to create something new and beautiful.

Alamela grew up in Byron Bay, on the East Coast of Australia, attending Byron Bay High School. Upon completion of her Higher School Certificate she will continue working internationally. Alamela is currently considering offers to model in China and Korea, as well as a feature film movie role as a deep sea diver.
